See It Now: Trailer For Spike Lee’s Film Taking On The Black Church ‘Red Hook Summer’

After several years of complaining about the quality of Black movies and their lack of importance and substance, Spike Lee has finally made his return to directing with his new feature film Red Summer Hook.

The movie according to it’s synopsis the movie focuses on a young middle class Atlien boy named but Flik Royale who during one extremely hot summer goes to visit his Bishop grandfather who he has never met before.  The movie shows the struggle of young boy trying to fit in with two different crowds that he is not particularly accustomed to but after meeting a pretty young girl, things start to make since to him.
