TDR: What’s your proudest moment of Nicole?

Susan Parker: I have so many……I just get more and more proud. I really like the fact that when Nicole wants something, she has a tenacity that is second to none. She gives it everything she’s got. Like her part in the play, Street Car Named Desire (Broadway), it’s been a dream of hers since she graduated college. When the call finally came, and I knew that it would, I felt that she would really give it everything she had and when I saw her present it, I knew that she did just that. That’s one of the moments. There has been many, many more. I like the way she transitioned into motherhood. I remember we had a discussion, where she asked “Mommy how can you do everything? How can I be a mommy, an actress, a wife?” My reply was, the women of your age and in this day and age, they should be able to do everything. It’s like magic. The same way she works at being a good actress and fine tuning her art, she also works very hard parenting and I enjoy watching that.
