Hometown Hero: Gabby Douglas Gets Mural Painted of Her In Virginia Beach

Gabby Douglas may be a inspiration to young Black girls all over the US, but she is an even bigger hero to her hometown of Virginia Beach and to prove it, Gabby was surprised with a big mural in her honor.

The mural was painted by brothers Todd and Eric Lindbergh who spent 4 long days in the hot sun painting this mural in her honor. The words ‘Way To Go’ show as a form of congratulations to the 16 year old.
