The Comeback: D’Angelo Shows Off At Essence Festival [Video]

We’ve all been waiting for this for almost 10 years and we finally got it. After a brief teaser during the BET Awards, D’Angelo took the stage during the Essence Festival and reminded us of why he will always be great despite what the industry has to say.

Starting his performance off with with a piano introduction of “How Does It Feel”, D’Angelo walks casually to the mic and began to belt out notes of some of our favorite songs before ended his set with a brief vocal tease of “How Does It Feel” in an amazing falsetto.
