Chaka Khan Does “Super Life–Fear Kills, Love Heals” PSA With The Help Of Celebrity Friends

Super diva powerhouse Chaka Khan grabbed some of her friends and put together this beautiful Heal The World-esque song and video tribute in honor of Trayvon Martin.

With the help of some friends which included Eric Bonet, Kimberly Elise, Kenny Lattimore, Terry Crews and his wife Rebecca, Angela and Courtney, Stacy Francis, Kelly Price, Loretta Divine, Boris and Nicole Ari, Eva Pigford and many many more, they put together this beautiful song and tribute while wearing hooded sweatshirts with a white t-shirt underneath that reads “Super Life – Fear Kills, Love Heals”.

It should be noted that Chaka Khan, who has two boys of her own, moved out from the United States many years ago for this very reason.  According to her, she felt that her sons lives would be in danger no matter where she lived in the U.S regardless of her money or social status.  To try to prevent her sons from having to endure the constant harassment and stereotyping she opted to move to the U.K and raise her family there.
